The Yarden 2T presents bright cherry and cassis fruit notes layered with characters of cocoa, flowers, spice and French oak. An appealing blend of two well-known Portuguese varieties, this attractive wine has good body and nice concentration of flavor.
Full Bodied. Gripping but very soft tannins and toasty oak. On first attack ripe raspberries and blackcurrants, those making way for light herbal and earthy notes and finally plums and oriental spices, all culminating in a long, mineral-rich finish.
The 2011 Yarden Pinot Noir displays aromatic floral, berry and spice notes on an attractive background of French oak. Elegant and drinkable, the wine’s medium body is a bit lighter than usual, reflecting the extremely cool 2011 growing season.
